INTRODUCTION
Zinc is an essential micronutrient for plants growth. This is used in the formation of chlorophyll and conversion of starches to sugar in plants which helps crops in withstanding cold temperatures. It is also vital in the formation of auxins which are responsible for stem elongation and growth regulation. Zinc deficiency in crop shows its symptoms on new leaves. The primary sign is chlorosis for the fresh leaves which is a condition associated with lack of chlorophyll. It is also related to the formation of necrotic spots on the leaf margin or tips. Zinc deficiency may also result in poor budding leading to low flowering thus decreased fruit harvest.
In case of Apple spray should be made at petal fall stage and post–harvest stage
