INTRODUCTION
SABAR contains Verticillium chlamydosporium, a beneficial fungus that lives in soil and attacks plantparasitic nematodes. When applied to soil, it reduces the number of nematode eggs and young nematodes, lowering the damage they cause to plant roots.
- Apply SABAR to the soil before planting or at early stages of crop growth. Mix with water and irrigate into the root zone so the product reaches nematode-infested areas. Use on the same day after preparation.
- For Seed & Nursery Beds treatment apply 20 gms/Kg of Verticillium chlamydosporium 1.0% WP.
- For Soil treatment: 5 Kgs/Ha with 1 MT/Ha of FYM before transplanting.

Verticillium chlamydosporium helps control nematodes like rootknot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) that attack the roots of tomato, cucumber, carrot, okra, and other vegetables.
