INTRODUCTION
Zimm (Verticillium Lecanii 1.15% WP) an entomopathogenic fungus, kills insects pest by a parasitic mechanism. It infects insects through contact, germinates and penetrates their cuticile. Once inside the fungus grows, multiplies and consumes the insect, eventually leading to their death.
- Mix ZIMM with water to prepare a spray solution and apply evenly on the leaves and stems of plants in the early morning or evening. Use the spray on the same day.
Suspend 250 gms of Verticillium Lecanii 1.15% wp in 550 ltr of water. Spray uniformily using foliar spray at 15 days interval on appearance of pest infestation on citrus (Acid lime) plants over one hectare of land.
